About Us
Located at the foothills of the Tug Hill Plateau, PondView Lodge is the perfect spot for the outdoor enthusiast — a quiet location with all the basic amenities of home…and even a working sugarhouse for maple syrup production.
Housed in the front section of an old 1939 dairy barn, the lodge has a unique view overlooking the pond and shows some of the old corner timbers from the original structure. It offers comfortable accommodations for 7-8 people, and is perfect for small groups or families that wish to cook their own meals and have a nice large area to just hang out in and relax.
Since we realize that pets are party of the family, we have also opened our lodge to pets; well-socialized and vaccinated pets are welcome to stay with their humans and enjoy the lodge as well.

Who We Are
Dave Marzolf and Beverly Levreault are your hosts at PondView Lodge.
Dave, an avid sportsman and retired medical professional, also runs a sugar house during maple sugaring season and manages the 150-acre PondView woodlot. Quite handy with a farm tractor, he’s the one who will probably unbury your vehicle or snowmobile if you’re here during one of the Tug Hill’s notorious “lake effect events” where they measure the snow in feet…not inches.
Dave is also the head of operations at the PondView Sugar House, making sure that all the maple syrup comes out just right…he’s a true “liquid gold” perfectionist at heart 🙂
Bev is also an outdoors-lover, learning most of the various plants, fauna and wildlife that can be found on the property or neighboring 8600+ acres of state land. Co-owner of Black Cat Dog Designs (handcrafted designs for pets and their people), she’s the creative soul who is constantly updating designs and using upcycled materials and natural products found on their 150-acre managed forest.

Our History
Founded in 2005, PondView Lodge has hosted a wide range of visitors, from salmon fisherman to x-c skiers to snowmobilers, and even a few wedding parties. It offers a very relaxed atmosphere in a rural setting surrounded by acres of forests, wildlife and water. So if you are looking to get away from it all, PondView is a great place to go! And…we are pet-friendly 🙂
